An elegant and sumptuous wine in an ’old school’ Bordeaux style. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc all carefully selected from the finest vines in Carmelo’s Perdriel vineyard. The aromas are complex yet restrained, with notes of earthy fruit, dried peach and apricot, pepper, ground almond and coffee with a definite hint of cigar box. On the palate there is a complex potpourri of dark fruit, cedar, roasted hazelnuts, caramalised apple and coffee, amongst others. The tannins have mellowed and give balance to this rich tapestry of a wine. 14% Alc.  More Information...
