This is a splendid wine, elegant and rare. The wine offers a cherry plum colour, a clean nose that after taking in plenty of air will reveal its true red and green pepper aroma interspersed with dried apricots and peaches. Gorgeous wine. This replaces the pure Cabernet Sauvignon which is no longer being produced. Some of the highest vines in Argentina, at over 2230 metres above sea level produce the grapes for this wine. Produced from the highest vines in Argentina, at over 2230 metres above sea level. Subdued nose until the wine begins to open up. Then a tight but intense abundance of green sweet peppers, macadamia nuts, caramel, candied fruit, spice and vanilla. Dark and just ripe berry fruit. On the palate it has an overwhelming, undiluted intensity that progressively reveals its different layers. This wine can be drunk or kept well for another 10-20 years.
