Carmelo has been making wine for over forty years and is one of the most respected winemakers in the Argentine wine world. He runs his small boutique winery in Luján de Cuyo and produces about 20,000 litres per year using Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. He runs every element of the operation himself with all the care and artistry of a master craftsman. He will not sell the wine until he deems it ready for release, usually at least 4-5 years after harvest, with at least 3 of those years in bottle.
