Appearance: Deep ruby red with vibrant purple hues.
Nose: Aromas of blackberries and raspberries combined with notes of chocolate, vanilla and spice.
Palate: There is good harmony in the integration of the fruit and tannins with the 12 month barrel aging. The fruit and spice aromas are carried through into the palate to give a smooth mouth feel and a very pleasing finish.
Food match: Ideal with red meat, pasta or cheese.
