Appearance: Brilliant, deep ruby red with purple hints.
Nose: Mostly red fruit, redcurrant and raspberry with a hint of blackcurrant and some sweet floral (violet) notes from the Syrah.
Palate: Dry with medium body, medium acidity and mature tannins. Flavours of redcurrant, raspberry and cassis with light hints of coffee and white pepper. A concentrated wine expressing the high altitude terroir.
Food match: Ideal to pair with red meats, pasta and cheese.
