Carmelo Patti Malbec 2013

On the nose there are the expressive aromas of ripe hedgerow fruits, and hints of smoke. On the tongue it's surprisingly smooth, with a strong vanilla flavour that brings an almost creamy quality to the wine.

One of Argentina's finest oenologists, Carmelo Patti's award-winning wines have something of a cult following, and have consistently been our most requested among customers.

Many of our regular customers have visited Carmelo's Mendoza winery and enjoyed "the Carmelo Patti experience" first hand.

On first sip of the 2013 Malbec it's easy to see why.

A wonderful wine for curling up with in the winter, and the perfect partner for red meat dishes, and even turkey.

(Alcohol Volume 13.8%)

Carmello Patti - Bodega Carmelo Patti

Carmelo Patti has been making wine for over forty years and is one of the most respected winemakers in the Argentine wine world. He runs his small boutique winery in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza and produces about 20,000 litres per year using Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. He runs every element of the operation himself with all the care and artistry of a master craftsman. He will not sell the wine until he deems it ready for release, usually at least 4-5 years after harvest, with at least 3 of those years in bottle.
