Pietro Marini Malbec Rosado 2017

El Transito's Malbec Rosado is a Rosé that stands out from its counterparts on other continents. On the nose there are delicate aromas of rose petals, vanilla custard, and a strong strawberry note that continues on the tongue. Remarkably refreshing in the mouth, there are flavours of strawberry, hints of mango and honey, and a clean, crisp finish with notes of lemon peel.

Richer and more complex than many Rosé from Europe and California, but equally crisp and refreshing, El Transito's Malbec Rosado is a Rosé that stands out from its counterparts on other continents. On the nose there are delicate aromas of rose petals, vanilla custard, and a strong strawberry note that continues on the tongue. Remarkably refreshing in the mouth, there are flavours of strawberry, hints of mango and honey, and a clean, crisp finish with notes of lemon peel. Should you wish to recapture the summer in a glass, or need a perfect pairing for lamb or spiced dishes, look no further than the Malbec Rosado. Alc. 13.5%

Pietro Marini - Bodega El Transito

At the begining of 2012 Tim Atkin, Master of Wine and award winning journalist, tasted over five hundred wines from Argentina.  One of the wineries that impressed him greatly was Bodega El Transito located in Cafayate, at over 6,000 feet, in the north-western province of Salta.  He includes this in his ten wineries to watch and he also rates the wines particularly highly.

The roots of the El Transito winemaking tradition stretch back to the end of the nineteenth century when the current owner's great grandfather, Pietro Marini, emigrated from Italy and settled in Cafayate.  The tradition has been handed down and is now in its fourth generation, in the very capable hands of Andrés Nanni.

We are delighted to introduce you to the Pedro Moises and Pietro Marini wine brands.
